United Nations
Dr. Lozano has delivered several lectures on her PhD research at the United Nations Documentation Division (DGACM). She has also presented lectures on effective communication, focusing on strategies to convey complex information clearly in multilingual and international settings.
In addition, she has co-organized lectures at the United Nations addressing topics related to translation and edition. And she has collaborated with the United Nations Focal Points for Women, helping organize workshops to promote women empowerment and gender equality in the work place.
Finally, she has contributed to the United Nations Spanish Book Club by helping expand its collection of books and its readership, increasing engagement among the international community. She also supported the International Day of Multilingualism at the United Nations, advocating for language diversity and cultural exchange.
Cervantes Institute, International House
Lozano has also conducted workshops for educators at international institutions, including Cervantes Institute in New York and International House in Barcelona. These workshops introduced innovative approaches to teaching complex grammar topics in multilingual contexts. Through her teaching and lecturing activities, she has helped promote effective pedagogy, foster professional growth, and support educators and students.
Higher education
Throughout her career Lozano has been involved in mentoring students and supporting their academic and professional development. She has also delivered a talk at the University of Girona on career paths for philology students, where she shared insights into opportunities in both research and applied language work, helping students navigate diverse trajectories within the field of linguistics.
